 On 22nd February, 2008, at approximately 2030hrs, the Malay College 'Mighty Ducks' Hockey team played a friendly match againts Royal Military College at Bukit Jalil Hockey Stadium. The game was part of Malay College - Royal Military College Carnivale 2008.Royal Military College managed to sneak a goal at the 15th minute of play. Present oldboys and Malay College students geared up their cheers to help our players boost their morale. The coaches later advised our players to get the short corner as much as possible. After several attempts, we hit an equaliser 1-1 just before the half time. Into the second half, the game was ours. However, after a few attacks and short corners, we failed to witness a good finishing shot. The result? We draw 1:1. Said one of the coaches,"Not bad at all! Good preparation for MSSD 2008 next week in kuala !" We would like to thank our teachers, coaches, supporters and others for their invaluable cheers and support. Credits: KNizam.
